Another winter night, dark and cold, with a light snow falling. I\u00a0walked home from the gym along the edge of an empty, snow covered athletic field.\u00a0 The lights of the houses in the distance\u00a0glowed warmly. The field was quiet and still under several feet\u00a0of snow. In the cold and gloom, the baseball games of summer seemed a long way off .\u00a0 Snowflakes swirled in the halos of the streetlights, like the\u00a0bugs\u00a0you\u00a0see swarming near the lights in\u00a0summer.<\/p>\n
But it wasn’t summer.<\/p>\n
Today, I looked out my office window and couldn’t see the buildings across street due to the latest blizzard. Again. It’s become hard to tell the time of day when it seems to always be gray and snowing.<\/p>\n
I have entered a timeless zone in which it is alway 3 PM and snowing.<\/p>\n
