{"id":4727,"date":"2022-03-14T20:55:17","date_gmt":"2022-03-15T00:55:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/christopherdonahue.com\/?p=4727"},"modified":"2022-03-14T20:55:17","modified_gmt":"2022-03-15T00:55:17","slug":"the-last-winter-evenings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/christopherdonahue.com\/?p=4727","title":{"rendered":"The Last Winter Evenings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was an inclement Wednesday evening in March.\u00a0 The rain and sleet steadily coming down was prelude to an eventual switch over to snow.\u00a0 I&#8217;d come home from work through that mess and just wanted to rest. Basically, I wanted to un-bundle from my winter commuting outfit and relax for the evening.<\/p>\n<p>I had done pretty well this year with my New Year&#8217;s resolution of not saying negative stuff about the winter.<\/p>\n<p>But that doesn&#8217;t mean Winter hadn&#8217;t been a challenge I knew from the calendar there wasn&#8217;t much more winter to go.
