Two days ago, the blog went off-line due to some technical difficulties with the web-hosting service.\u00a0Was it gremlins causing problems? Things that go bump in the night bumped me off-line? Not only was the blog down, but three years of\u00a0blogging were probably gone too. Only a handful of posts were backed up as text documents. Most of my posts were toast!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/christopherdonahue.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/20151024_121216-e1446598371218.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1762\" src=\"https:\/\/christopherdonahue.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/20151024_121216-e1446598371218-300x144.jpg\" alt=\"20151024_121216\" width=\"300\" height=\"144\" srcset=\"https:\/\/christopherdonahue.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/20151024_121216-e1446598371218-300x144.jpg 300w, https:\/\/christopherdonahue.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/20151024_121216-e1446598371218-1024x490.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It was certainly a bit of a shock. Thirty-six months\u00a0of self-absorbed ramblings lost to posterity. Gonzo. I felt bad. But, then I looked at my two cats sleeping in the sun on the back of the couch.<\/p>\n<p><em>Oh well<\/em>,\u00a0\u00a0<em>I&#8217;d rather have my two feline buddies\u00a0than any ol&#8217;\u00a0blog. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>At any rate, after two\u00a0days, IT was able to restore the site.
