My whole world is the sun and the sand and ocean. Everything is important, exciting \u00a0and fun &#8211; running to get back in the water, swimming with fins on, scanning the sea for ships, collecting shells, examining washed up fish&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I&#8217;m hiking in a Vermont woods. Glimpses of the valley start appearing through the trees and I&#8217;m excited to know I am getting higher up mountain. I stop and catch my breath, anticipating the view from the top and what a beautiful day it is&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I&#8217;m walking along the narrow cobblestone streets of a Tuscan hill town, searching for the cool interior of a church were I can view an obscure fresco by a Renaissance master&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/christopherdonahue.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/20150527_185337.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1533\" src=\"https:\/\/christopherdonahue.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/20150527_185337-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"20150527_185337\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/christopherdonahue.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/20150527_185337-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/christopherdonahue.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/20150527_185337-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>I&#8217;m in a\u00a0de Havilland Beaver float plane flying around Seattle with my wife, and marveling at the beauty of the Great Northwest on a rare, for there,\u00a0sunny day&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In the vacation of my mind, I sure as heck ain&#8217;t at work!<\/p>\n<p><em>copyright 2015 Magnus Incognito<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the Vacation of My Mind&#8230; I am a small boy on the beach at Cape Cod.
